I am Keith Edmonds, a lifelong educator, coach, mentor, and speaker with a passion for empowering others through lessons of resilience, faith, and personal growth.

Born in Champaign, Illinois, I have dedicated 38 years to education, coaching, and administration in Fort Wayne, Indiana. My career has been driven by a commitment to shaping young minds, leading teams, and fostering a culture of excellence both on and off the court. As a former boys’ basketball coach and high school administrator, I had the privilege of leading my team to the 2003 Indiana Boys Basketball State Championship—a defining moment that reinforced my belief in teamwork, preparation, and perseverance.

Since my retirement in 2017, I have continued my journey as a Girls’ AAU Coach, a writer for Fort Wayne Ink Spot Newspaper, a broadcast analyst for SummitCitySports.com, and a Career Coach at Renaissance Pointe YMCA. My work allows me to share my experiences, challenge perspectives, and inspire individuals to navigate adversity with purpose and confidence

Described by those closest to me as resilient, humorous, and knowledgeable, I take pride in my ability to connect with people from all walks of life. My talks focus on leadership, excelling through challenges, goal-setting, career guidance, and empowering young men to make positive choices. Whether speaking to students, athletes, professionals, or organizations, my mission remains the same—helping others Strive for Success by embracing their journey and unlocking their true potential.

Inspired by my late grandmother, Louise Tanner, who lived to 101 years old, I carry forward her legacy of faith, kindness, and unwavering belief in the power of mentorship. With every speech, article, and coaching session, my goal is to uplift, encourage, and motivate individuals to push beyond their limits and embrace their greatness.
